NICK FISH is a partner with the law firm of Meyer & Wyse LLP. Born and raised in New York, he moved to Portland in 1996 when his wife, Patricia Schechter, was offered a position with Portland State University. Nick serves on the board of Volunteers of America and hosts Outlook Portland with Nick Fish, on KWBP. His daughter, Maria, plays soccer with the Alameda Sparks, and his son, Chapin, age 1, is a native Oregonian. |

JACK McGOWAN is an Executive Director of one of Oregon's best-known grass roots organizations, SOLV (Stop Oregon Litter and Vandalism), a non-profit organization that brings together government agencies, businesses and individual volunteers in programs and projects to enhance the livability of Oregon. Prior to his involvement with SOLV, McGowan was a mayoral press secretary and local media personality. |
| BRUCE SAMSON is well known for his local civic activism. Now retired, he was former chair of the Portland Chamber of Commerce, general counsel for NW Natural, and most recently general counsel for the Portland Public School District. Bruce was one of the original organizers of the 2001 Flight for Freedom, and is remembered for his inspirational message of hope and courage at Union Square during the trip to New York City. |
